I've now used Computerease for about a year & a half & I love it! ... The switch to CE was very easy & the program is a delight to work with. The "bonus" with CE is that you are never on hold & the phone is answered by a real live person. Any problems we've had have been cheerfully & competently dealt with -- fast! I love the price & the fact that a monthly fee doesn't magically disappear from my account... .... CE seems to be far more sane . . . I truly have nothing bad to say. I LOVE Computerease -- the program is easy to work with & the people I've dealt with are absolute sweeties. I would heartily recommend Computerease. Just a note to express how great a company and software program you have. ScrImage is a brand new MEN’s fitness center and is starting to take off in the US. We being the first ScrImage in America almost accepted the software program that was offered through ScrImage. Because of my computer background and accounting background, I found the program to be lacking in substance and also locked the user into only whatever the software would allow. Thus, I began my search for a better software solution and boy did I ever find it with you. I downloaded and tried the trial package and was sold within hours. The program is so simple to operate that I sometimes try to over-think the simplest ways of working in the software. Your technical support has been outstanding when needed and the immediate responses to little suggestions for program modifications is next to none. I am recommending your software not only to new ScrImage club owners, but also to Curves club owners who find their present software lacking. What a pleasure it is to work with you all and all the links you recommend. The key tags to electronic funds transfer people have all been fantastic and the best part is, when I tell them I am using Computerease software, they all breathe a sigh of relief because they know the software works perfectly with their products.

The name (Computerease) truly does the product justice. Residing in Quebec we have very stringent regulations concerning "tax" and have to submit reports within guidelines given. Timing is of the essence as we are penalized if dating is not met. Ed has resolved many issues and works hand in hand with us to ensure his product is beyond reproach. The response time is incredible and we can honestly say on a scale of 1 to 10 re customer service ...HE TOPS THE SCALES (little play on words here). I bet this will sound familiar to all that have or plan on starting a Health Club. Starting a new health club is tough and ensuring you do it right the first time is even a larger task. When it came time to consider hardware and software platforms for my business I quickly realized things may not be as simple as I had hoped. I contacted a well known computer company and explained that I wanted a Point of Sale system that included a computer that I could use for all functions of the business, a receipt printer, cash drawer, camera, keypad, and an all-in-one printer, copier, and fax machine. The final note the person stated was that I should contact the person that I was going to get the software from to ensure it all would interface. I then went to task and started downloading all of the different software programs to find out which one would work best for me. The programs range from about $500 to over $5000 and to date I still don't know why the huge cost difference because for the most part they all do about the same thing. There are some differences however, all of which pulled me closer to my decision to go with Computerease. Some programs are so in-depth I found myself getting lost easily and not being able to get to the information I needed. Some the menus were poor. One I would inadvertently exit out of program. One sent me an invoice and contract when I called about questions. One sent me 4 pages of hardware requirements and some never returned my calls. All of these concerns were put to rest when I reviewed Computerease. The menus are easy to use, you can't get lost in the program, the support is wonderful - when you call, Bev answers the phone and if you need technical help she transfers you to Ed and he answers the phone, it can be customized with your own logo and the positives go on and on. I asked Ed what I need for hardware and he noted that for the most part anything on the market will support the use of Computerease. I then ordered the hardware, but not all from one vender, the cash drawer and POS printer I bought separately due to cost. I called Ed and asked how to make it work. Ed set up the changes and emailed them to me with great easy to understand directions and bingo everything works. I can print on one printer for reports, and I have the carbon copied point of sale printer for receipts. I hit the print receipt icon and the cash drawer opens - it is so easy. We have completed our conversion to your software, without any glitches! My staff, which are all Full time students at the college are impressed by the ease at which they are able to register new and returning members and modify information. I am extremely pleased with the detail and quality of reporting available.

I use Computerease at my Pace for Men club in Langley BC. I use a two computer and two monitor configuration. The computers are networked using a twisted Cat5 cable. The data base rests on one computer, but is accessed by the second one. Thus, the second computer can be a very low powered model, since it really only runs the operating system and a screen to display sign in. I would never suggest that anyone use a dual monitor system; this is just not stable enough.

The program is extremely stable. I have had no problems with the data base at all. Compared to ????????, ...

I installed the program at a Curves recently. The database had to be re-entered, of course. It was a great opportunity for a file review. It takes about 4 minutes per file once you get into the swing of it, to enter the key information we considered essential. This included tombstone information, initial and most recent measurement information, and financial information ...

A real strength to the company is their support. I have been able to find people who can answer my questions every time I call. They return my call if they are not there - they don't hide. Updates come through periodically, with installation instructions. These are easily installed, and they do not impact on my data base. The other thing that is really important is that when I have a suggestion that makes sense to them, they seem to take me seriously, and they work on it. I hate being treated like an idiot around this stuff, and these folks treat me like who I am - a customer...

The Perfect Fit is a privately owned women's 30 minute fitness club on Ogilvie Road in Ottawa. As new business owners it has been a challenge to get the business up and operating. One of our important decisions was how we were going to manage our memberships. After some research we determined that most of the software on the market was designed for large, very complex facilities, was very expensive, and was difficult to use for a small business such as ours [for now ;-)].
